Our Family Programs invite children and caregivers to experience the farm and forest together, guided by our experienced staff. Offered throughout the year, these seasonal programs create space for shared exploration, play, and connection—rooted in safety, growth, and joy. Families gather on the farm to slow down, learn together, and build meaningful relationships with each other, our team, and the land.

Nature Baby (Spring & Fall)

Suitable for infants and toddlers ages 0 – 24 months: Although Nature Baby and Forest Family are play-based, Nature Baby usually occurs in the forested area closer to our main site. Alternatively, Forest Family includes short, guided hikes and programming targeted to children ages 2-5 years. For this reason, families with children between 18 and 24 months can choose which class is best suited for their child.

Join us in the forest and on the farm in our multi-week Nature Baby classes, where families will learn and explore while immersed in nature. Each week will bring a new adventure to families as they will be guided by our qualified educators. This program follows the tenets of Forest School, as outlined in these 10 Forest School Principles. Program activities may include nature hikes, loose part play, art and music, animal interactions, mud and bugs, campfire treats and more.
