Our Family Programs invite children and caregivers to experience the farm and forest together, guided by our experienced staff. Offered throughout the year, these seasonal programs create space for shared exploration, play, and connection—rooted in safety, growth, and joy. Families gather on the farm to slow down, play and learn together, and build meaningful relationships with each other and the Land.

Forest Family (Now Includes Nature Baby)

Families with young children are welcome to join us on the farm for our Spring and Fall Family Programs, where caregivers and children can learn, explore, and connect while immersed in nature. Caregivers—including parents or grandparents—and all young children in the family are welcome to attend together. Registration is completed by the caregiver (rather than registering each child individually), making it easy for families to participate as a group.

Forest Family has merged with Nature Baby to bring you an open-age group program for caregivers and young children, featuring short, guided hikes and hands-on sensory programming throughout the farm and forest.

Each week brings a new adventure, guided by our experienced educators and grounded in the principles of Forest School. Activities may include nature walks, loose parts play, art and music, farm animal interactions, mud and bugs, campfire treats, and more.

Please note: Some areas of our site are not stroller-friendly. Strollers or baby carriers/wraps are welcome, but families should be prepared for uneven terrain.

Please note: A minimum of eight families is required for the program to run, and registration is for the full seven-week session. Individual dates are not available.

This fall, we’re excited to offer a new format for our Family Programs. Rather than separating Nature Baby and Forest Family, our weekly Family Program will now be referred to as Forest Family.
