Forest Club is a 3-hour Saturday program for children (see available age groups below) who are eager to explore, play, and connect with nature in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Children spend their time engaging in seasonal, land-based experiences such as hiking, caring for farm animals, building shelters, climbing trees, exploring the pond, and following their curiosity through open-ended, outdoor play.
This shorter-format program offers many of the same benefits as our full Forest School programs, supporting the development of confidence, resilience, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork—all while fostering a strong connection to the natural world.
The program will run on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for six sessions on the following dates:
September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 17, and 24
*Please note: there is no programming on October 10th (Thanksgiving weekend)
Each session will invite children to play and explore different areas of the farm and forest while deepening their connection to the Land and to one another. Each class is $45 per child, with 16 spots available. (Please note that this program requires a minimum of eight children to run this spring, and registration is for all six classes. Individual days are not available.)
Educators: Our Forest School programs are led by experienced adults and childcare/education professionals. Many of our staff are either Ontario Certified Teachers, Early Childhood Educators, or have other relevant child care experience. Our staff are trained in First Aid with CPR and AED, and they all have recent, clear Vulnerable Sector Checks.
This program is open to all children ages 4-8. Registration opens on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
